We aren’t changing the good habits for 2019, and we invite you to find every Friday the key points of European transport news.


We take advantage of this 1st post, to wish you a very happy new year and to present you our best wishes for 2019 !

FRANCE : Minister of Transport E.BORNE, will receive in January the road transport federations Yellow Vests.

EUROPE :

  • Brexit, measures for road transport in the absence of agreement.

 

  • Belgium :Since the 1st of January, Telepass offer the toll payment also in Denmark (Oresund and Storebaelt bridges), Sweden (Oresund bridge) and Norway (Svinesunds connection, Toll Roads and Tunnels) with the Telepass SAT device.
  • Updates concerning the Flanders region network since the 1st of January 2019, as reported in the map below :

38 km have been added on this network:

  • A11 from Brugge/Bruges (N31) to Knokke-Heist (N49)
  • N36 from Roeselare/Roulers (R32) to N35 (Zarren)
  • N722 from N80 (Hasselt) to N718 (Sint-Truiden/Saint-Trond)

 

  • Since the 1st of January as well, the Wallonia decided to indexed their toll rates. Please find below the table with the updates foreseen :
